See January Style Recap {here}.
Two months down in 2015 already? Time is flying! One good thing I can say is that Spring is right around the corner, which means warmer (and more humid) weather. I mean, aren't we tired of the snow already???
Before I transition into more fun styles this Spring, I want to recap the styles I wore in February. Through my participation in a month long updo challenge co-hosted by Yemi @ Great Lengths, my focus was creating various protective styles for shorter length natural hair (5-7 inches). I had fun with this challenge and was impressed which what I was able to come up with without throwing in the towel and wearing the same old trusty twists (or a wig). My blogger friend, Jackie @ Adventures of A Nappy Chica inspired me with some of her awesome ideas.
Here are the four styles I wore for the challenge {click picture to be directed to the original post for more angles + details}:
Here are a few other styles I sported for a day or two (or three with the beanie + cold weather):
Last, but not least, here's Z style recap:
For this month, I will continue, for the most part, with protective styling but will definitely enjoy wearing my hair out a little more (particularly huge bangs while still at its current length).
Did create any new styles on your hair in February? What are your styling goals/plans for March?
